In 2002 my wife Barbara and I got a new puppy that we named "Delta." From the start, I could see that she was a very special dog. We began training and at 5 months old, I began taking her hunting. I soon realized that in order to give Delta the opportunity to be her best, she would need to retrieve more ducks than I could provide by myself. Her aptitude was such at 7 months old I was using her to guide hunters on a club that I worked for. I took her on fishing trips and found that she would even jump off the boat and retrieve fish as I reeled them in! Our logo was born! In 2003 with Barbara's blessing, I started Fishdog Outdoors. To give Delta the opportunity to be the best she could be, and give others the chance to hunt over her. To date, she has successfully retrieved nearly 4000 birds! Delta built Fishdog Outdoors. I just helped.
Ben Williams
Ben Williams retired from a successful contracting business and is now a full time professional Bass Fishing and Waterfowl Guide. He fished on the Pro Bass Circuit in the Western U.S. for 25 years. He is a 7 time Bass Classic qualifier and he has written several articles for national fishing magazines.
Three time Hall of Fame Inductee Dee Thomas writes:
